Singapore Polytechnic (SP) is seeking a Lecturer (Business Law) to join the School of Business. This role is multifaceted, combining the responsibility of an educator, administrative leader and industry collaborator. The successful candidate is expected to be resourceful, innovative, and possess strong communication skills.
The successful candidate may be assigned to teach in the following areas:

• Company Law
• Business Law
• Employment Law
• Intellectual Property Law
• Contract Law

[What you will be working on]

Responsibilities:

  • Designing and delivering lectures, tutorials, and assessments for both Pre-Employment Training (PET) and Continuing Education and Training (CET) students.
  • Review and develop teaching curriculum to ensure currency, industry relevance, and alignment with student learning outcomes and employability goals.
  • Reviewing and developing pedagogical practices, integrating EduTech tools and other data-informed approaches.
  • Journeying with learners, providing pastoral support and career guidance.
  • Supervising student projects, events and internships.
  • Supporting strategic initiatives through involvement in committee work and consultancy projects.
  • Collaborating with other agencies to develop courses to upskill Singapore’s workforce.

[What we are looking for]

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in law.
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience, prior teaching experience is a plus but not required.
  • Self- driven, adaptable and ready to work as a team.

Successful candidate will be offered a 2-year contract in the first instance.
