The Learning & Development Specialist partners with subject matter experts across Power Design to create and deliver engaging learning experiences for our field leaders. Position Responsibilities…
• Conduct interactive, hands-on training sessions in both group and one-on-one settings.
• Collaborate closely with subject matter experts and cross-functional partners to design and maintain relevant and impactful training content (activities, materials, resources, assessments, etc.).
• Manage program logistics including scheduling, training records, tracking participation, and reporting.
• Assist in developing and coordinating training materials that support business priorities and employee development needs.
• Create supporting resources such as visual aids, job aids, facilitator guides, and participant materials to enhance learner engagement.
• Support all phases of the instructional design process: identifying knowledge gaps, designing and developing solutions, delivering training, and evaluating outcomes.
• Perform additional duties and travel as needed to support learning initiatives.

Here’s What We’re Looking For…
• Bachelor’s degree required; a focus in Instructional Design, Curriculum Development, or a related field is preferred.

• Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time — typically one trip per month — to project jobsites across the U.S.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in training, teaching, or learning program facilitation.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (written and verbal communication) is highly preferred.
• Proven experience developing and facilitating curriculum for both in-person and virtual audiences — small and large.
• Strong track record of deploying training quickly and effectively.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Experience working with a Learning Management System (LMS) is a plus.
• Construction or field-based training experience is a plus.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment — highly organized, creative, detail-oriented, and adaptable.
