Overall Purpose 

This position is a key partner that will serve as the subject matter expert in corporate recruiting, as well as partnering with hiring managers to facilitate acquiring exceptional talent for the company.  It will ensure compliance with legal requirements and demonstrate continuous commitment to employee engagement. 

Essential Functions 

  • Serves as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for researching and advising primarily on non-technical roles (Ops., FP&A, Legal, Marketing, Partnerships, etc.) within the company 

  • Consistently identifies and successfully attracts high performing corporate talent to the organization 

  • Complies with organization policy and government regulatory guidelines; actively consults with leaders on how to navigate through these policies to drive for compliance 

  • Collaborates with key stakeholders to understand hiring needs and incorporates effective recruiting strategies to meet business needs 

  • Represents and advances company and department brand in all interactions with candidates and hiring managers 

  • Works with senior leaders in defining and maintaining pivotal hiring needs 

  • Executes on tactical outreach, referral generation, event, and pipelining efforts 

  • Partners with technical recruiting staff to craft custom outreach and meaningful candidate engagement strategies 

  • Researches and gathers market intelligence and shares with other People Team members, specifically Compensation. Understand and execute against shifts in the marketplace that present recruiting opportunities 

  • Provides internal council and guidance to internal key business partners to ensure internal practices are upheld. 

  • Tracks candidate activity and shares with internal stakeholders 

  • Collaborates with other People Team members to ensure offers are aligned with compensation programs and internal equity 

  • Able to take candidates from beginning to end of the talent cycle.  Primary contact through screen, interview process, negotiation and offer. 

  • Partners on the creation and maintenance of technical recruiting specific data and reporting with Director, Talent Acquisition and Workday SME 

  • Supports the company’s commitment to risk management and protecting the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data. 

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Education and/or experience typically obtained through completion of a bachelor's degree.   

  • Minimum of 8 or more years of related experience with emphasis in corporate and leadership recruiting experience 

  • Excellent research/sourcing skills. Including use of Boolean, deep source, and other emerging search techniques. 

  • Ability to deliver results with little supervision, and effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects and requisitions 

  • Decisive and able to push back constructively when appropriate 

  • Demonstrated effective negotiator 

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to network within the industry to identify top performers. 

  • Proficient with applicant tracking systems. 

  • Ability to analyze data and trends, create reports and present findings, as needed 

  • Background and drug screen 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • 10 or more years of corporate recruiting experience with emphasis in fintech. 

  • Prior mentoring and/or leadership experience 

Physical Requirements 

Working conditions consist of a normal office environment. Work is primarily sedentary and requires extensive use of a computer and involves sitting for periods of approximately four hours. Work may require occasional standing, walking, kneeling, and reaching. Must be able to lift 10 pounds occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently. Requires visual acuity and dexterity to view, prepare, and manipulate documents and office equipment including personal computers. Requires the ability to communicate with internal and/or external customers.

The base pay scale for this position in:
New York, NY in USD per year is: 125,000 - 156,000.
Additionally, candidates are eligible for a discretionary incentive plan and benefits.
