[What the role is]
The Business Partner / CET Programme Facilitator plays an important role in driving the growth of Continuing Education and Training (CET) programmes at Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP). This includes managing internal partnerships with units in NYP, liaising with external agencies, managing and administering CET programmes, and promoting CET offerings.
[What you will be working on]
Key Responsibilities
1. Internal Partnership & Programme Management
- Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as the primary CET Business Partner to assigned NYP School(s) and internal units. This includes regular engagement to understand their capabilities and capacity for CET programme delivery.
- Programme Coordination: Work collaboratively with School CET colleagues to manage and administer CET programmes. This includes aspects like budget planning, course approval and accreditation with funding agencies, post-course evaluation, etc.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure all CET programmes and related activities adhere strictly to NYP's internal policies, financial procedures, and quality assurance frameworks.
2. External Liaison & Policy Implementation
- Agency Relationship Management: Liaise extensively with external funding agencies, particularly the SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) Agency, to stay updated on national CET policies, funding schemes, and grant requirements.
- SSG Initiative Roll-Out: Lead or assist in the implementation of new national CET/SSG initiatives and policy changes within NYP. This includes interpreting new guidelines, developing internal workflows, and conducting briefings for relevant internal stakeholders.
3. Operationalising Policies and CET Initiatives
- Policy Implementation: Translate high-level CET policies and strategic directions into clear, actionable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions for partner Schools and relevant internal units.
- Process Improvement: Proactively identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in CET administration processes and recommend/implement solutions to enhance operational effectiveness, especially in areas relating to enrolment, funding, and certification.
- Project Management: Lead or participate in special projects and initiatives related to NYP's strategic CET goals, such as the adoption of new learning technologies or development of cross-School programmes.
4. Marketing Support
- Market Sensing: Lead and conduct small-scale gathering of market intelligence on industry skills demands and competitor offerings to inform the development of new, market-relevant programmes.
- Promotional Support: Work with the marketing and communications teams, as well as School leads, to organise or participate in roadshows, career fairs, SkillsFuture events, etc. that accurately and engagingly promote CET offerings to potential clients and participants.
- Client Engagement: Handle initial enquiries from potential corporate clients or large groups, providing programme information and routing more complex corporate opportunities to senior management.

[What we are looking for]
Qualifications and Requirements
- Relevant qualification in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
- Proven working experience in programme management, administration, or partnership management, preferably within the education or CET sector.
- Pleasant interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and CET landscapes in Singapore is an advantage.

- Meticulous with proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) to effectively engage and influence a diverse range of internal (academic, administrative) and external (agency, industry) stakeholders.
- Ability to conduct simple market analysis and research.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Good communication and leadership skills.
