The AI Security Assistant is an interactive security assistant that leverages generative AI (GenAI) and large language models (LLMs) to provide added context and assistance within the Arctic Wolf Unified Portal. It allows for natural language interaction, enabling customers to ask questions and gain more context about their security environment.

We’re seeking a Lead AI Engineer to design and build the next generation of intelligent, autonomous security systems. In this role, you’ll combine deep expertise in AI, multi-agent architectures, and cybersecurity to create scalable, secure, and adaptive solutions that strengthen enterprise defenses. You’ll lead technical strategy, guide a high-performing engineering team, and drive innovation at the intersection of AI and Cybersecurity.

What You’ll Do

Architecture & Development

  • Design and develop multi-agent AI workflows to automate and enhance complex cybersecurity capabilities.

  • Architect and implement MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers and tools to support AI-driven workflows.

  • Build scalable, fault-tolerant microservices using Kubernetes and HPA for enterprise-grade AI deployments.

  • Implement observability frameworks (metrics, traces, logs) to monitor agentic AI systems and detect anomalies in real time.

  • Embed security, compliance, and auditability across all AI-driven workflows, ensuring adherence to cybersecurity standards,

LLM Engineering

  • Fine-tune and optimize large language models (GPT, Claude, Llama) for cybersecurity use cases.

  • Implement advanced prompting techniques, RAG, and few-shot learning to improve detection accuracy and contextual reasoning.

  • Build low-latency, cost-efficient inference pipelines leveraging AWS Bedrock for secure, real-time analysis.

  • Maintain robust model lifecycle management, including versioning, evaluation, and A/B testing for continuous improvement.

Cloud & Systems

  • Lead secure, cloud AI deployments on AWS with strong focus on compliance and data protection.

  • Build and maintain secure service meshes and messaging systems (Istio, Kafka, RabbitMQ) to support distributed AI workloads.

  • Ensure enterprise-grade resilience with high availability, disaster recovery, and dynamic scaling.

Leadership

  • Lead and mentor a team of 5–6 AI/ML and backend engineers in delivering secure, high-performance cybersecurity solutions.

  • Establish technical standards, architecture blueprints, and best practices for AI-powered security systems.

  • Partner with product, research, and security teams to drive innovation and technical roadmaps in cybersecurity automation.

  • Foster a culture of experimentation, innovation, and operational excellence in the AI and engineering teams.

We’re looking for a Senior Software Developer – AI Customer Engagement to design and build the next generation of Conversational AI experiences that transform how our customers interact with Arctic Wolf’s Security Operations Cloud. You’ll be part of a team building intelligent, context-aware assistants that help customers access insights, automate workflows, and resolve issues faster — all through natural, human-like conversations.

This role is ideal for an engineer with a strong software foundation who is passionate about applied AI, large language models (LLMs), and customer-centric product experiences. You’ll work closely with our product, data science, and customer success teams to deliver high-impact Conversational AI solutions that enhance customer engagement, self-service, and operational efficiency.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and implement Conversational AI systems leveraging LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and dialogue orchestration frameworks.

  • Build intelligent assistants and chat interfaces that integrate seamlessly with Arctic Wolf’s Aurora platform and customer portals.

  • Develop and maintain backend services and APIs in Python, Go, or JavaScript to support conversational flows, context retrieval, and personalization.

  • Integrate with internal and external systems (CRM, Support, Knowledge Base, Security Operations data) to enable rich, context-aware responses.

  • Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to fine-tune models and improve language understanding, summarization, and recommendation quality.

  • Implement observability and feedback loops to monitor AI accuracy, tone, and effectiveness in real customer interactions.

  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and CI/CD workflows to ensure reliable, high-quality software delivery

About You

  • 6+ years of experience in software engineering, AI systems design, or cybersecurity solution architecture.

  • Strong programming expertise in Python, Java, Node.js, and GraphQL API development.

  • Proven experience building microservices and REST APIs, integrated with modern CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes for scalability.

  • Deep understanding of AWS Cloud Platform, including Bedrock, SageMaker, Lambda, ECS, and other core services.

  • Hands-on expertise with LLMs (GPT, Claude, Llama) and frameworks such as LangChain, Transformers, and Bedrock SDKs.

  • Experience designing RAG pipelines, agentic AI workflows, and AI-driven automation for enterprise environments.

  • Skilled in working with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, and vector databases like Faiss and Pinecone.

  • Strong foundation in observability, monitoring, secure architecture, and team leadership for production-grade AI deployments.
