In this role, you will:
- Develop, retain, and grow complex client relationships by understanding client and financial decision-maker priorities, responding promptly, communicating strategically, managing expectations, and actively soliciting feedback.
- Lead the structuring, modification, and renewal of complex credit solutions—including cash flow and real estate loans—by analyzing financials, presenting recommendations, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and partnering with senior peers to execute sophisticated transactions.
- Deliver the full suite of Wells Fargo solutions by engaging product partners to design client-specific strategies, leveraging a deep understanding of each client’s business model, strategic objectives, operational priorities, and financial position.
- Make informed decisions in complex, multi-faceted situations within the Commercial Banking Relationship Management group, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures while driving team deliverables and new initiatives.
- Collaborate strategically with peers and senior leaders to resolve client issues, navigate internal processes, escalate inquiries when necessary, and identify opportunities for process improvements and risk control enhancements; serve as a mentor to less experienced colleagues.
- Drive relationship planning and pipeline management by maintaining accurate and current information in relevant systems to support disciplined sales execution.
- Support business development efforts by partnering with Business Development Representatives and leveraging existing networks to source new commercial banking clients.
- Provide market and client feedback to leadership in partnership with Commercial Lending Product Management to inform innovation, design, and delivery of credit solutions.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Commercial Banking Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Comprehensive knowledge of core banking products and services, including commercial lending and treasury management
- Proven ability to manage a sales pipeline and consistently deliver strong performance
- Established local network and deep understanding of the North Texas market to drive business development
- Demonstrated success in converting prospects into long-term client relationships
- Extensive experience managing commercial banking relationships for clients with annual revenues of $100MM–$500MM
- Strong track record of building and maintaining internal and external partnerships
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative
- Expertise in identifying and mitigating risk while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
- Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Highly effective time management and organizational skills
- Completion of formal credit training program
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance
