Right on pace with Target’s distinctive retail brand, Target Store Operations is continuing to transform the way it operates. Here, your work directly supports the store mission to be the guest favorite through successfully developing and communicating the processes for operations, style and experience, new structures, new operating models and new technology, and utilizing workforce management activities for our 1,800 locations nationwide. Store Operations manages and enhances the informational resources for researching and resolving operational issues, while guiding and communicating with the field team and leaders who use them. Are you a customer service enthusiast who can actively listen to many points of view and then visualize how they’ll perform when operationalized in a store? Are you happy to partner with leaders as well as field team members who are often the experts on how well a process is working? Can you creatively envision more efficient processes and how they’ll deliver a better experience for guests and team members? Do you possess the innovative mindset to question the status quo, and the confidence to work under varying degrees of ambiguity and well-informed experimentation? Then you’ll have success on one of our dynamic teams.

A role with Strategy, Planning, and Delivery will entail working with cross-functional partners to manage and enable the meetings and events portfolio for the Stores organization. You’ll create and deliver plans that help HQ leaders, field leaders, and key partners translate the Stores strategy from vision to execution, curating meaningful moments that connect teams, celebrate progress, and drive clarity of purpose.

As a Lead Business Partner, Store Operations – Meeting Strategy and Planning you will use your expertise to lead the development and execution of key Stores moments. In this role, you will manage meeting routines and event planning processes that strengthen team connection and communication across the Stores organization. You will partner closely with senior leaders to inform, prepare, and support meeting content, structure, and communication needs, ensuring each experience reinforces strategy and engagement.

You will serve as the primary point of contact for Store Operations with enterprise partners – including Corporate Communications, Experiential Marketing, and Stores Communications – to ensure cohesive planning, consistent messaging, and execution excellence across key Stores moments. You’ll collaborate with executive admins, field partners, and cross-functional contributors to coordinate communication, timing, logistics, and responsibilities that make these moments come to life.

You will play a critical role in shaping and delivering key Stores events such as the Stores Spring Meeting (SSM) and Target Together (TT).  From early strategy development and detailed timing and action plans, you will lead end-to-end execution, ensuring alignment on objectives, content, and logistics. On-site, you’ll serve as a key leader guiding the experience, managing run-of-show, and resolving real-time challenges to deliver a seamless event.

You will engage directly with leaders to synthesize meeting insights and feedback, identify interdependencies across enterprise initiatives, and ensure the Stores perspective is represented in company-wide planning.  Through strategic consultation, proactive planning, and continuous improvement, you will help strengthen how Stores Operations connects its people, priorities, and purpose.
