About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Execution Consultant/Lead Operations Data Product Manager to support the Payments Transformation Data Services team, driving strategic execution and product enablement across the Payments Operations organization.

This role involves leading a Payments Data initiative aligning transformation goals with delivery milestones, driving execution in cross-functional teams to deliver impactful omni-channel experiences and measurable business outcomes. The Lead Payments Operations Product Manager will help manage the product roadmap and vision, prioritize and document key requirements, and implement change delivery solutions across technology and process workstreams. Additionally, this role will require collaboration across the enterprise with managers, stakeholders, and delivery teams to plan releases, resolve issues, navigate complex execution challenges, and drive execution of strategic project goals.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead complex Payment data transformation initiatives End to End including planning, prioritization, tracking and delivery execution.
  • Translate business goals (KPI’/OKR’s) into actionable written requirements for Features and User Stories
  • Use Strategic thinking to align payment data requirements to industry best practices, Transformation goals, and internal data strategy
  • Actively participate in planning sessions to prioritize and maintain the backlog to align with delivery needs
  • Demonstrate the ability to explain business requirements to technical and non-technical partners and leaders
  • Orchestrate dependencies with required PODS, Teams, and business partners
  • Collaborate closely and consult with stakeholders at multiple levels (product managers, scrum masters, project managers, technology, operations and delivery team members) to drive execution and report / resolve / escalate issues and risks.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for product enhancements and business requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Product Management, product owner, strategic planning, process management, change delivery experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Proven experience implementing and operationalizing enterprise Data Management Policies and Standards.
  • Understanding of ISO 20022 standards and Payments Data
  • Proficient understanding of regulatory data requirements applicable to Wires payments (e.g., Reg E, Travel Rules, Dodd Frank)
  • Expertise in identifying, sourcing, and documenting business-critical and regulatory use cases, including associated data artifacts and metadata.
  • Strong knowledge of data control frameworks, data quality rules, and domain-specific information structures.
  • Experience with data defect management, root cause analysis, and remediation planning.
  • Familiarity with domain incentives and accountability models in the data governance space.
  • Proficiency with data governance and metadata tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Alation)
  • Large Scale Transformation or Migration initiatives
  • SWIFT Wires experience within banking or financial services
  • Payment transformation & messaging experience (RTP, FedNow, MT-to-MX, SWIFT, CHIPS)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders across business, risk, and technology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with expertise in PowerPoint and storytelling.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization abilities, with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient in synthesizing and simplifying complex information from diverse stakeholders.
  • Customer-centric mindset, with the ability to think end-to-end, take initiative, and independently track and meet deadlines.

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$119,000.00 - $206,000.00
