Individuals in this position have been trained and observed by leadership multiple times and
serve continuously in this role a minimum of 75% of the time they are serving before being
officially placed in this position.
ELEMENTARY: Service Leader
- Managerial level position
- Provides leadership and oversight for the whole service in assigned classroom
- Responsible for people management and confrontational conversations during the weekend services
- Provides weekend and event leadership, training, and oversight to Ministry Leaders
- Holds some weekday hours for room/service preparation, team scheduling, and rotating weekly oversight/mentoring connections with two Ministry Leaders
- Attends Staff Chapel or watch recordings if unable to attend
PRESCHOOL: Service Leader
- Managerial level position
- Provides leadership and supervision for multiple classrooms of a similar age range
- Responsible for people management and confrontational conversations during the weekend services
- Provides weekend and event leadership, training, and oversight to Ministry Leaders
- Holds some weekday hours for room/service preparation, team scheduling, and rotating weekly oversight/mentoring connections with two Ministry Leaders
- Attends Staff Chapel or watch recordings if unable to attend
CHECK-IN: Service Leader
- Managerial level position
- Provides leadership and supervision for every kids check-in area
- Responsible for people management and confrontational conversations during weekend services
- Provides weekend and event leadership, training, and oversight to Ministry Leaders
- Holds some weekday hours for station/service preparation, team scheduling, and rotating weekly oversight/mentoring connections with two Ministry Leaders
- Attends Staff Chapel or watch recordings if unable to attend
Service Leader Training Requirements
- Required to watch three leadership videos within first two months of hire, with one new leadership video each quarter thereafter
- Attend Kairos
- An assigned reading chosen by Kids Campus Pastor
