About the location:
Four Seasons Resort Mallorca at Formentor, perched on the spectacular Formentor Peninsula and surrounded by panoramic views of the Mediterranean and the stunning landscape, first opened its doors in August 2024 following an extensive restoration and renovation of the historic property, originally inaugurated in 1929 on a vast private estate. After its successful debut, the resort will reopen to guests in March 2025, reaffirming its status as a unique destination of luxury and elegance on the island.
About the role
A Kids Club Attendant is a key part of the guest experience, you will be responsible for creating a fun, safe, and welcoming environment where our youngest guests can enjoy unforgettable moments. You will lead activities, supervise play, and ensure that each child feels valued, entertained, and cared for in line with our brand’s standards of excellence.
What you will do
Plan and execute safe, fun-filled and educational daily scheduled programs for guests ranging in ages from 4 to 12.
Prepare the KFAS facility on a daily basis to handle a minimum of 5 children.
React to changes in scheduling, weather or number of children with prepared backup plan.
Arrange for food from In Villa Dining as required by guests. Assist with the service.
Converse with guests and answer questions regarding the resort.
Provide orientation of KFAS facility, and when available, of the Recreation Building.
Promote and up sell excursions to guests, customizing where necessary to meet guest needs.
Execute the tasks of a Water Sports, Kid’s Club, or Health Club Attendant as needed.
Adhere to all corporate core standards in execution of programming.
Work closely with supervisor to ensure proper standards of hygiene and functioning of equipment.
Assist in handling guest requests, complaints, and any special problems keeping the Kids Club Coordinator and Recreation Management well-informed of action and follow-up.
Provide personalized service for all VIP’s and SA guests on a daily basis.
Participate fully in all departmental training as outlined by your manager and as per the Departmental Annual Training Plan to master all tasks and skills related to the Standard Operating Procedures for your position. Fill in any gaps in your skills and knowledge.
Respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation.
Perform any other tasks or projects as assigned by the hotel management and staff.
What you bring
Language proficiency: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; Spanish or additional languages are a plus.
Personality: Outgoing, friendly, and confident when interacting with children and families, creating a fun and welcoming environment.
Experience: Previous experience working with children, ideally in hospitality, education, or recreational settings.
Skills: Ability to swim and ensure children’s safety during pool or beach activities.
Certification: Valid First Aid, CPR, and Heimlich Maneuver certifications, as well as knowledge of basic safety and rescue techniques.
Responsibility: Commitment to following safety procedures and maintaining constant supervision of all children.
Teamwork: Cooperative attitude, able to coordinate effectively with colleagues, parents, and management.
Organization: Patience, creativity, and the ability to plan engaging and age-appropriate activities.
Legal requirement: A clean criminal record certificate, as required in Spain for individuals working with minors, and legal authorization to work in Spain.
Work Experience: 2 Years.
Degree: Professional /Technician.
Languages: Spanish / English.
Language Ability: High.
