This role is part of the Digital HW SoC (System on Chip) Development Unit, distributed over more NXP sites in Europe, America, and Asia. The development unit operates within the STI (Secure Transactions & Identification) Product Line to provide our high demanding market-lead customers with secure payment and identification solutions for the Mobile, Infrastructure and IoT market areas.
Your Responsibilities:
Support concept creation and evolution of digital HW modules used in our NFC Controllers SoCs
Specify, design, and verify each owned module
Optimize each module for area, performance, and power consumption
Provide valuable support to the IC validation campaign
Collaborate with Analog, System, Validation and FW engineers
Your Profile:
Master’s degree or PhD in Electronics or Electrical Engineering, Information and Computer Engineering or similar
Good knowledge of digital design methodologies
Good knowledge of at least one RTL coding language (VHDL, Verilog, System Verilog)
Good knowledge of lab instrumentation for digital HW testing
Basic understanding of digital verification methodology and tools
Basic knowledge of DSP design, Matlab and Simulink
Basic knowledge of scripting and programming languages (Python or any C dialect)
Very good analytical and self-organization skills
Very good written and spoken English
