The Job

As part of our Motorsports Buying Team, you’ll play a key role in bringing the excitement of Motorsports to life through commercially balanced and fan focused merchandise. Working closely with our global brand partners and internal teams, you’ll help shape collections across eCommerce and trackside channels that capture the spirit of the sport and deliver products to fans around the world. You’ll coordinate closely with Merchandise Planning, Commercial Management, Purchase Planning, eCommerce, Compliance, Legal and Trackside Teams to ensure products are ordered and delivered on time, supporting planned shipping schedules and global launch dates as well as smooth day to day operations of the Buying Office.

Your Mission

  • Own the selection of commercially balanced, product assortments that meet category strategy and customer demand;
  • Support data driven decision making, using sales and market insights to inform assortment choices and in season opportunities;
  • Manage Third Party Supplier relationships, including negotiating commercial terms, understanding brand strengths and ensuring product availability;
  • Ensure timely delivery of merchandise across all channels (eCommerce & trackside) by managing buying deadlines and launch timelines;
  • Together with Purchase Planning, monitor and track critical paths for each Supplier, flagging potential risks to ensure delivery dates are met;
  • Contribute to cross functional collaboration, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned on timelines, product allocations and launch priorities.

Your Talent

  • Proven hands on experience in buying (sports, fashion or lifestyle categories), range planning, supplier negotiations and managing the product critical path from concept through to delivery. Experience in branded or licensed product environments is an advantage;
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in a similar job;
  • Commercially driven, with strong negotiation skills to manage product selection, pricing, margins and supplier terms that deliver growth and profitability;
  • Customer focused using market insight and sales data to make informed, timely decisions that maximise sales and deliver compelling product ranges;
  • Experienced in working within branded or licensed product environments (sports, fashion, or lifestyle categories preferred);
  • Strong relationship management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across internal teams and external partners;
  • Organised and detail oriented, capable of managing multiple priorities and product timelines while maintaining accuracy and focus;
  • Proactive and self driven, taking ownership of projects and demonstrating a solution oriented mindset to adapt quickly and make effective decisions under pressure;
  • Comfortable travelling to meet suppliers, attend go to market meetings and support trackside operations overseas representing the brand with professionalism and confidence;
  • Passionate about product, continually seeking opportunities to innovate, learn, and share knowledge while supporting team development;
  • Committed to ensuring all products meet relevant compliance and regulatory requirements across suppliers.

This is a hybrid role, based at our London office in Brixton. The expectation is 3 days per week in the office to support teamwork and keep projects on track, with flexibility to adjust as needed to manage workloads and priorities.
