You’ll be joining Invesco’s dedicated proxy voting and stewardship team within the Investments division. This team plays a critical role in shaping Invesco’s approach to investment stewardship, working closely with Proxy Voting & Governance, Investment Teams, Legal, Compliance, and Sustainable Investments to ensure our proxy voting activities reflect our values and fiduciary responsibilities.
As an Investment Stewardship Junior Analyst, you will support day-to-day proxy voting activities, including proposal research, vote recommendations aligned with Invesco’s Global Proxy Policy, and collaboration with other analysts. This is a unique opportunity to gain insight into investment management and stewardship while contributing to a growing and collaborative team.
Analyze proxy meeting materials and assist in developing vote recommendations aligned with Invesco’s Global Proxy Policy
Support research using company filings, proxy advisor insights, and alternative data sources
Collaborate with senior analysts and investment teams to evolve proxy voting guidelines
Aggregate and report proxy voting data to support transparency and insights
Assist with client inquiries and requests related to proxy voting and stewardship
Contribute to a highly collaborative team environment and support cross-functional initiatives
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Accounting preferred; equivalent experience considered
1–2+ years of experience in investment stewardship, investment management, or a related field
Interest in proxy voting, corporate governance, and long-term value creation
Technical aptitude in data analysis and a broad understanding of financial markets
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for senior-level audiences
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office tools
Strong work ethic, adaptability, and eagerness to learn and grow
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
The salary range for this position in Downers Grove is $85,000 - $92,000 / year. The total compensation offered for this position includes salary and incentive pay and will vary based on skills, experience and location.
