Hey everyone! This is Thai Viapiana from CI&T's Talent Attraction Team :) We are seeking a talented professional to manage the complete Data Lifecycle and lead our data initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing the Complete Data Lifecycle: Oversee the entire data lifecycle, from where data is generated to ETL pipelines and data enablement.
Data Architecture & Infrastructure: Understand the technical architecture/infrastructure that supports the organization's data needs, including storage, integrations, and analytics platforms.
Task Prioritization: Work with technical and business teams to understand their data needs and priorities, effectively communicating the value of data initiatives. Prioritize tasks and define the roadmap, balancing competing demands from different stakeholders.
Data Profiling: Analyze data types, relationships, patterns, and trends to gain a better understanding of the data.
Requirements Definition: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand and document data requirements, ensuring they are clear, specific, and achievable, as well as how the data should be presented for consumption.
Business Process Understanding: Understand business workflows to make appropriate assumptions regarding sources, entities, and attributes to answer business questions.
Validation: Validate the product with users to ensure it meets their needs and expectations, using data and metrics to inform decisions.
Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze product performance using metrics and KPIs to assess success and track the effectiveness of data initiatives and investments, using data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement.
Powered by AI: Support the incorporation of AI in the team workflow to enhance performance.
Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and analytics specialists, to develop and deliver high-quality data products. Attract, retain, and develop top data talent. Mentor, train, and pursue growth opportunities to build motivated teams.
Main Requirements
- Experience in Data Warehouse
- Extensive experience with Oracle and Microsoft
- Demonstrated ability to oversee the complete data lifecycle, including data generation, ETL processes, and data enablement.
- Experience in managing data from source to consumption is essential.
- Strong Understanding of Data Architecture and Infrastructure:
- Ability to collaborate with both technical and business teams to prioritize tasks based on data needs. Proven experience in defining roadmaps and effectively communicating the value of data initiatives to various stakeholders.
Nice to Have:
Experience in either the Data Platform, Data Visualization, Salesforce Integration, or Advanced Analytics space.
Experience with major Cloud Platform providers (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
Experience with SAP
Experience migrating data platforms to the cloud.
Experience building data platforms on-premises and in the cloud.
Experience with widely used operational tools such as HubSpot, Workday, Segment, or Braze.
Experience with project management tools.
Experience with AI/ML.
