This position will require in-office attendance of 4 days/week.

At Built, we’re building the future of construction finance — and we need a tech-savvy problem solver who’s ready to help build our own internal IT future along the way.

As an IT Support Specialist, you won’t just reset passwords and close tickets — you’ll be engineering better ways to work. From automating request workflows in Jira Service Management, to shaping the onboarding experience for every new Built team member, to keeping our Zoom Rooms humming for company-wide events — you’ll have your hands in nearly every part of our IT ecosystem.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role where curiosity, creativity, and a love for automation will take you far.

What You’ll Do:

Deliver and Evolve IT Support

  • Be the go-to hero for employees’ tech needs through Jira Service Management — own tickets from intake to resolution or escalation.

  • Troubleshoot macOS and Windows devices, Google Workspace issues, Okta access requests, Zoom challenges, and more.

  • Design and build new request types, automations, and workflows in Jira to make the support experience smoother and smarter.

  • Partner with IT Engineering to identify pain points and turn manual processes into automated ones.

Create Exceptional Employee Experiences

  • Lead the IT portion of weekly New Hire Orientation (NHO), helping every new Built employee get set up for success.

  • Continuously improve onboarding processes using Confluence and automation tools like Okta Workflows or Kandji Blueprints.

  • Work cross-functionally with People Ops, Security, and Engineering to keep our systems secure and our users delighted.

Own Our Hardware and A/V Game

  • Manage and track company devices in Atlassian Assets (CMDB) — you’ll own the full lifecycle, from procurement to retirement.

  • Support and maintain Zoom Rooms and Logitech Rally Bar setups for all in-office conference spaces.

  • Lend your tech skills to internal company events, town halls, and all-hands meetings.

Document, Improve, and Automate

  • Keep our IT processes organized and accessible through Confluence documentation and Scribe guides.

  • Help design automation between systems — think connecting Okta → Jira → Slack → Kandji to eliminate repetitive tasks.

  • Champion process improvement: when you fix a problem once, you make sure we never have to fix it again.

You’ll Thrive Here If You…

  • Love finding elegant solutions to messy problems.

  • Get excited about automating repetitive tasks and improving workflows.

  • Communicate clearly and confidently with everyone from interns to executives.

  • Can pivot quickly and learn on the fly in a fast-paced, constantly evolving tech stack.

  • Care about the people behind the tickets — not just the technology.

What You Bring

  • 2+ years of IT or Help Desk experience in a tech-forward environment.

  • Deep comfort with macOS, Windows, Google Workspace, and Okta.

  • Experience with Kandji or Intune, and Jira Service Management.

  • Curiosity and willingness to learn automation tools (like Okta Workflows, Power Automate, or Zapier).

  • Bonus points for A/V support experience, Atlassian admin knowledge, or light scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).

Why You’ll Love Working on IT at Built

  • A modern, cloud-first IT environment with Okta, Kandji, Atlassian, Twingate, and Google Workspace at the core.

  • A collaborative, tight-knit IT team that values experimentation and innovation.

  • Real opportunities to build systems, not just support them — you’ll help shape how IT operates at scale.

  • Great people, great tools, great snacks (and plenty of rally bars that don’t need troubleshooting).
