We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to play a pivotal role in our enterprise-wide Core Banking replacement programme—a strategic initiative comprising 25 interdependent projects spanning end-to-end product value chains across multiple technology platforms, including Temenos Transact and satellite systems. As a Project Lead within this transformation, you will be responsible for driving delivery excellence across a portfolio of critical developments, ensuring seamless integration, robust governance, and successful adoption across global business units.Lead a development cluster encompassing multiple integrated applications, overseeing full lifecycle execution from inception to rollout
Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, budgets, resource allocation, risk assessments, and stakeholder communications
Establish and manage high-performing, cross-functional teams across geographically dispersed locations, fostering collaboration and accountability
Drive planning, coordination, and execution of implementation, system integration testing, UAT, and production deployment activities
Monitor project performance continuously tracking progress, controlling costs, assuring quality, and proactively managing risks and changes
Serve as the primary liaison between project teams, programme management office (PMO), business stakeholders, IT departments, and external vendors/partners
Chair and facilitate regular status reviews, steering committee meetings, and Change Control Board sessions to ensure transparency and decision-making efficiency
Align project deliverables with overarching business objectives, regulatory requirements, and enterprise IT architecture standards
Manage stakeholder expectations effectively, balancing competing demands in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline
Minimum of 8 years’ experience in managing complex IT programmes, ideally within private banking or financial services institutions
Demonstrated success in leading medium to large-scale digital transformation or core system modernisation initiatives
Mastery of both traditional (Waterfall) and agile project management methodologies (Scrum, SAFe), with flexibility to apply hybrid approaches
Proficient in using project and portfolio management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, and the broader Microsoft Office suite
Formal certifications strongly preferred: PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM/PSM), CSP, or SAFe Agilist
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with fluency in English (written and spoken); German or Spanish language skills are advantageous
Proven leadership abilities with strong organisational acumen, emotional intelligence, and team motivation capabilities
High personal ownership, resilience under pressure, and adaptability in dynamic, multi-stakeholder environments
