Job Description

IT Project Coordinator Co-Op

Location: Mississauga, ON                Type: Spring 2026

  • Competitive pay starting Rate: $22.00 -$24.00 per hour

WHEN YOU JOIN US YOU WILL:

  • Work with business areas to identify gaps and opportunities to ensure all policies are accounted for the business is in compliance with IT PMO guidelines

  • Provide critical data support to a technical team

  • Research and analysis functions may include budget tracking and financial forecasting, project evaluation and monitoring

  • Perform any data analysis relevant to project task

  • Provide support to the project management office by contributing to the completion of project objectives and the coordination of project scheduling

  • Organize the necessary team members to facilitate reporting and analysis of projects under the supervision of a project manager

  • Provide support to management to draft and document policies, work instructions and enhancements for stronger employee engagement

  • Approach updates and tasks in a tactical and strategic manner, applying a logical thought process with attention to detail

  • Provide weekly status updates for management and stakeholder review and feedback

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE;

  • Enrolled in a university-level program with a focus in Computer and Information Science, Data Science/Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent program

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.

  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency required (Outlook, Word, Power Point and Excel).

  • Enthusiastic and pleasant attitude.

  • Strong desire to learn.

  • Upholds best practice standards as well as departmental policies and procedures.

  • Excellent listening skills, verbal and written communication.

Hours/ Days / Schedule

Hours of work will be primarily Monday through Friday {30 – 40 hours, day shift}.
