IT Operations Engineer I

Location: San Jose, Costa Rica

🚀 What You’ll Do

As an IT Operations Engineer I, you’ll be the face of IT at your assigned location—owning all aspects of technology support and service delivery. You’ll collaborate globally while solving local challenges, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the primary IT contact for your region—owning all IT services and support.

  • Deliver and maintain IT products and services that keep the business running smoothly.

  • Use ITIL 4 and proven troubleshooting techniques to resolve incidents and escalate when needed.

  • Lead local implementation of global IT initiatives and projects.

  • Manage hardware/software lifecycles: computers, mobile devices, printers, networks, servers, and wireless systems.

  • Partner with users, vendors, and suppliers to resolve issues and improve service delivery.

🧠 What You Bring

  • 2+ years in IT support or systems engineering.

  • Strong troubleshooting and monitoring skills.

  • Hands-on experience with:

    • Windows 11, MacOS, Microsoft Office Suite

    • Active Directory, Azure AD, Citrix XenApp/Desktop

    • Networking (routers, switches, WAPs, firewalls)

    • MDM tools (Azure Endpoint Management)

  • Bonus points for:

    • Exchange Management, Agile/Scrum, JIRA/Confluence

    • ITIL 4 certification

    • Technical certifications (CompTIA, MCP, MCSA, MCSE, CCNA, AWS, Azure)
