The IT Client Support Specialist is responsible for managing enterprise mobility solutions, supporting end-user devices, and ensuring seamless IT support for employees. This role involves mobile device management (MDM), contract/vendor management, and general 1-2nd level IT support, aligning with ITIL service management best practices.
Mobility & Endpoint Management
Administer and support Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms (Microsoft Intune, Workspace ONE, etc.).
Manage the deployment, configuration, and security policies for mobile devices, laptops, and tablets in coordination with Mobile Service/Future Workplace/Modern Work Team.
Troubleshoot mobile connectivity, application issues, and remote access (VPN, Wi-Fi, MFA).
Ensure security compliance on all corporate devices through encryption, patching, and access controls.
IT Support & End-User Assistance
Provide Tier 1 & Tier 2 technical support for enterprise devices (laptops, mobile phones, tablets, desktops) including global back-office support topics.
Assist users with IT-related issues related to software, email access, and security configurations.
Work within the IT service desk team to resolve escalated mobility and client computing issues.
Contract & Vendor Management
Manage contracts with mobile carriers, IT hardware vendors, and MDM providers.
Work with procurement teams for contract renewals, cost analysis, and vendor negotiations.
Track and report billing, usage trends, and cost optimization opportunities for mobility services.
IT Asset & Inventory Management
Maintain a detailed inventory of mobile devices, laptops, and IT peripherals.
Oversee asset lifecycle management, including procurement, tracking, and decommissioning.
Ensure compliance with corporate IT asset policies and security guidelines.
ITIL Service Management & Continuous Improvement
Follow ITIL-aligned processes for incident, request, change, and asset management.
Identify recurring IT issues and propose solutions to reduce user disruptions.
