We have an exciting position for a Business Analyst to join our IT team here at Harrods. This opportunity will see you working on a project that will initially focus on building an MVP for the bespoke integration of 1-32-5 Luxury Super Brands onto our eCommerce platform, but will then move to build a BAU template for a wider cohort of Brands to integrate with. This ‘eConcessions’ model differs from a more traditional B2C fulfilment model, and sees the customer orders flow into the brands own stock holding locations for dispatch and fulfilment. This leans more towards a ‘drop-ship’ business model and relationship with brands.

About the Role
In this role you will be responsible for working with luxury brands to tease out the specific requirements for the successful integration of their Product Catalogue, Price and Stock into the Harrods system landscape systems ecosystem to enable their range to be sold on Harrods.com.

About You
This role requires a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively across internal departments and with 3rd party suppliers. The role will play a pivotal part in the successful re-launch of the Harrods eConcessions Business.
Whilst the person will leverage their strong core Business Analysis experience, framework and methodology, To be successful in the context of this role, they will also need to demonstrate possess a strong a good understanding of the Order to Cash flow in a Retail environment. This includes and of how Master Data is structured and maintained within an ERP - ideally having specific experience of working within a SAP environment. Crucially to the success of this role is experience in working within a drop-ship or Marketplace environment, where orders are fulfilled from the 3rd party brand direct to the customer, rather than our own internal stock pool.
We are also looking for someone who is experienced in how product is integrated from an ERP into an eCommerce environment and have worked with the data flows that enable that product to be sold online through the O2C lifecycle. This includes both the back-end integration from the ERP into the eCommerce front-end for Product, Price and Inventory, as well as the Order Flow from the OMS back through an ERP and out to the brands to fulfil. The final part of the process includes closing the loop with Invoicing and Billing and an appreciation of this end of the flow.
