We are looking for an IT Business Analyst to join our team in Diegem, Belgium. In this role, you will act as a liaison between business units and IT, ensuring technology solutions align with business strategies. You will help identify business needs, analyze processes, and recommend improvements that enhance operational efficiency and strategic outcomes.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand strategic goals, operational processes, and improvement opportunities.
  • Facilitate communication between business units and IT teams to ensure mutual understanding and successful project delivery.
  • Support the evaluation and selection of IT solutions that meet business needs and comply with corporate policies.
  • Assist in developing business cases and identifying benefits of proposed solutions, including cost savings and productivity gains.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues, escalating as needed for timely resolution.
  • Participate in training sessions and workshops to support change management and user adoption.
  • Maintain awareness of relevant regulations and ensure IT solutions comply with internal and external standards.
  • Contribute to the development of IT strategies that support business objectives and leverage emerging technologies.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in business analysis or a related role.
  • Knowledge of business analysis principles and the software development life cycle.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in English; additional language skills are an asset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders and produce clear documentation.
  • Experience with core productivity tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to assess business problems, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions.
