About the team

You’ll be part of Payments Professional Services team, working on customer funded enhancements to the payments switch application. You will be collaborating with teams across borders to deliver high quality enhancements to the FIS CONNEX application.

What you will be doing

· Design and develop enhancements to the CONNEX application and be the go-to expert for all client consulting needs.

· Act as a solution architect in defining wholistic solutions that align with standard architecture guidelines.

· Act as a strategic liaison between departments — from Product Management to Development.

· Collaborate with business pre-sales and sales teams and lead technical discussions with clients.

· Provide technical support to software and processing clients as required.

· Mentor junior team members and increase the development team’s capabilities tied to enhancing the CONNEX application, aligning with Architectural guidelines.

What you bring

· 15+ years of experience in enterprise-level application software architecture, with proven expertise in CONNEX on HP Nonstop application.

· Significant experience in design and development of enhancements to ATM terminal handler component.

· Deep understanding of ISO 8583, ISO 200022 and other payments message formats.

· Good understanding of PCI/PADSS standards.

· Strong background in leading technical discussions with clients and defining solutions.

· Experience architecting enterprise payment solutions is highly desirable.

· Ability to communicate complex technical, architectural, and resilience concepts in a clear, client-friendly way.
