Inventory Manager

Summary  

The Inventory Manager oversees inventory maintenance for an assigned region and manages warehouse personnel. This role also collaborates with internal departments, including Customer Service, Accounts Payable, and Administration, to ensure efficient operations and accurate inventory management.

Essential Functions 

  • Ensure Warehouse Associates are trained on proper SAP procedures.   

  • Maintain Aged inventory levels for Branch/Regions. 

  • Submit returns to vendors/create RTV purchase orders for the warehouse. 

  • Aid Finance with claim invoice questions, and invoice research/corrections about receiving/quantity/cost issues. 

  • Troubleshoot warehouse/purchasing issues. 

  • Maintain stock lists/settings. 

  • Create garage sale tickets for aged material sold at the branch level. 

  • Run and distribute reports regionally (aged inventory, cycle count progress, not picked reports, etc.) 

  • Assist with Purchasing Cockpit clean-up. 

  • Monitor warehouse/purchasing following best practice procedures. 

  • Inventory Cycle Counts. 

  • Fix inventory issues within the system. 

  • Guide the warehouses with suggestions to improve warehouse function and processes. 

  • Other duties as assigned 

Education & Experience 

Required 

  • ​​Associates / 2 year Technical School​ 

  • ​​2-4 years applicable job experience​ 

Preferred 

  • SAP Experience 

  • Bilingual experience preferred, but not required (English/Spanish)

  • Exhibits sound and accurate judgment, supports and explains reasoning for decisions, includes appropriate people in decision-making process, and makes timely decisions 

  • Strong organizational skills to ensure adequate tracking systems are utilized to maintain and track all required information associated with the ordering and production process 

  • Working knowledge of internet, inventory, project management, spreadsheet and word process software and order processing systems

Pay Range
$60,000 – $70,0000 per year
