Scope of Work

Develops and implements Inventory Management Programs for departments with high dollar purchases. Reviews and analyzes data and develops reports to summarize inventory control data. Acts as a resource to staff, managers, and other departments related to area of specialty.

  • Audits inventory control practices in areas where inventory control functions are performed outside of Supply Chain Management and researches potential inventory control options such as consignment, RFID or point of use programs.
  • Develops and presents recommendations for inventory management programs and assist management with the implementation of these programs.
  • Analyzes inventory levels and product consumption to determine reorder levels that will ensure product availability and minimize inventory costs.
  • In collaboration with management, develops and implements logistic plans that enhance inventory control procedures and processes.
  • Maintains appropriate records and prepares statistical reports in order to track and analyze logistic activities.
  • Communicates, collaborates and acts as a consultant to staff, management and other departments in order to educate and ensure continuity and coordination of services.
  • Ensures that processes and services are continuously monitored for quality, cost effectiveness, and efficiency. Engages in process and quality improvement activities. Makes and implements recommendations to improve operational efficiency and to implement new services for areas of responsibility.
  • Ensures that services are provided in accordance with state and Federal regulations, organizational policy, and accreditation / compliance requirements.
  • Performs such individual assignments as management may direct. Establishes and maintains effective working relationships within the organization. Provides information to senior levels of management on the implication of policies and procedures being formulated and recommends specific action.
  • Engages in continuous study of the entire professional field, including best practices, to maintain the professional competence, knowledge, and skills necessary for the satisfactory performance of all assigned responsibilities. Completes required continuous training and education, including department specific requirements.
  • Ensures that required documentation for activities within areas of responsibility is performed in an accurate and timely manner.

Qualifications

  • Required Bachelor's Degree or equivalent business or related field
  • 5 years of relevant experience general supply chain management Required
  • 3 years of relevant experience logistics and / or inventory control Required
  • Experience developing and implementing supply chain management and / or inventory management programs. Required
  • Previous experience utilizing supply chain management software. Required

  • CRT-Production and Inventory Management, Certified (CPIM) - UNKNOWN Unknown preferred
  • Ideal candidate will possess Pharmacy Inventory background and Full Pharmacy Technician License and/or Pharmacy Certification, such as PTCB or ExCPT

  • Ideal candidate will also possess some Project Management and Pharmacy Analytics/Reporting background and possess strong literacy in Microsoft Applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and Copilot

  • Ideal candidate will possess strong Omnicell Pharmacy experience

  • Tableau experience would be a plus

  • This is a Hybrid position, primarily 3 Days per Week On-Site and 2 Days per Week Remote
