How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?


 

Your Mission: Develop AI Solutions for Strategic Data Management and Analysis

The internship will take place within the R&D Foresight Team (Prospective), whose mission is to explore the frontiers of knowledge on fundamental small molecules for life, energy, and health. The team identifies synergies with the group's activities

As part of a technology watch and innovation project, you will assist our scientific experts in developing and modernizing the management tools for a strategic database on innovative startups and technologies. Your role will be to apply your expertise in Data Engineering and Machine Learning to transform data management and information access.

You will contribute to improving the data infrastructure and integrating Artificial Intelligence within the team:

  • Data Development and Maintenance:

    • Automate manual actions, such as updating data or pre-filling new evaluations with the most recent data.

    • Develop solutions for managing access rights to the database.

    • Maintain and enhance the tools for an existing database (Google Workspace) that uses scripts for various actions.

  • AI Integration and Application:

    • Automate the extraction of key information from the database using AI-based tools (such as Gemini and others).

    • Create a modern and user-friendly interface, based on AI, to facilitate user access and exploitation of the database.

  • Documentation and Support:

    • Thoroughly document all developed tools and train users on them.


 

Are you a MATCH?


 

Education: Graduate of an Engineering School or Scientific University, in the final year of study (Master's, Bac +5 or +6 equivalent).

Essential Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of fundamental computer science.

  • Proven experience in creating tools based on Artificial Intelligence.

  • Proficiency in the Google Workspace environment.

  • Mastery of scripting languages (Python, etc.).

  • Knowledge of graphical tools for creating dashboards.

Personal Qualities:

  • Organization, autonomy, rigor, and versatility.

  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills.

  • Proactivity and ability to adapt to an agile environment.

  • Natural curiosity for the energy transition and associated scientific fields.

  • Excellent level of English (written and spoken) for international exchanges.

Additional Information

Air Liquide has been awarded the Happy Trainees label.

The internship will be carried out at Campus Innovation Paris, Air Liquide's R&D center in France located in Loges-en-Josas (1, Chemin de la Porte des Loges).
