Education required:  Master Degree in CTF, Biology, Biotechnology or similar.

Other requirements: 

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals

  • some laboratory experience and knowledge of bacterial and cell lines manipulation, and basic immunological techniques;

  • good knowledge of bacteriology, cellular biology, imaging,  host-pathogen interaction studies, and functional studies;

  • Ability to understand, interpret, and communicate complex scientific data and ensures timely sharing of information;

  • Utilizes scientific knowledge and experience to influence technical decisions; 

Language requirement: Written and spoken fluency in Italian, English (B2)

Expected Start date: January 2026

Internship period: 6 months (can be renewed other 6 months)

What will you do?

 Are you energized by a challenging role in Molecular Biology and Bacteriology, where scientific demand is driving team growth? Our laboratory performs molecular and cellular biology activities including microbiology, bacterial genetics, cellular model manipulation, immunoassay and microscopy supporting several vaccine R&D projects. If so, this role would be a great opportunity to consider.

  •  you will be contributing to various project participating in the design of scientific research experiments and be responsible to understand, interpret, and communicate complex scientific data;

  • must be comfortable conversing with opinion leaders regarding highly technical information;

  • must be a self-starter able to handle multiple projects concurrently; possess a good balance of creative, analytical and strong communication skills;

  • ability to be productive and successful in an intense work environment and he/she must be a Team Player.

Key responsibilities:

  • Participates in the design of scientific research experiments under his/her scientific Tutor

  • Works closely under the direction of scientific staff for the implementation of scientific experiments, data collection and their interpretation

  • Utilizes scientific knowledge and experience to influence technical decisions

  • Implements highest ethical standards, good scientific practices & data integrity in his/her daily scientific activities

  • Participates in writing internal/external reports and scientific documents in support of  projects

  • Communicates effectively with manager, senior scientific staff and members from other Functions to ensure progression of project related work
