Pratt & Whitney Military Engines (ME) Integrated Customer Solutions organization is looking for an individual to work as a Country Manager responsible for Partners and various European or Asian countries.  This individual will cover their own country(s) as well as provide support as required to other Country Manager(s) to assist with other countries.  Position is responsible for managing all aspects of Pratt & Whitney Military Engine’s business activities and customer relations for the F135 engine program.

What You Will Do:

  • Responsibilities include development and ownership of program plans and strategies to keep the F135 sold, including supporting the execution and stand-up of the initial squadron of F-35 aircraft, supporting the execution of Industrial Cooperation projects, and finding solutions to customer needs. 
  • Close coordination and alignment with the objectives and strategies of the customer, Joint Program Office (JPO) and Lockheed Martin is required, as well as working closely with P&W’s F135 Program Management Office and F135 Sustainment to ensure fleet readiness, F135 Global Site Activation to ensure base activation and Global Asset Movement readiness, and F135 Global Industrial Solutions  to meet industrial cooperation obligations. 
  • The country manager acts as the primary customer focal point for Military Engines.
  • This individual will also be the Point Of Contact for F135 program status, propulsion system sustainment strategies, other business initiatives and executive-level customer visits including preparation of white papers, agendas and talking points. 
  • The Country Manager will have responsibility for the overall customer satisfaction of the customer and the JPO and assuring the industrial and sustainment concepts complement and support the international objectives of the F-35 program.
  • Key activities include hosting, coordinating, and participating in international government and industry meetings including Air Shows, and assisting with development and management of export licenses to support all activities in-country. 

Qualifications You Must Have:                                                                                    

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field with a minimum of 12+ years of experience, to include: experience with military products, customer service and programs as well as with international customers and cultures.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

         

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • BS degree in a technical field, MBA desirable.
  • Specific experience in Europe or Asia desirable.
  • Technical aptitude.
  • Results oriented with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated strong critical thinking, business judgment, innovation, and multi-discipline / functional team collaboration skills.
  • Consistent track record of relationship building and emotional intelligence.
  • Excellent presentation, written, and verbal skills.

The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
