ABOUT THE ROLE
The Internal Communications Lead plays a pivotal role in shaping the narrative of CHANEL’s London office relocation — connecting people, purpose, and place. Partnering closely with cross-functional teams, this role ensures our employees feel informed, inspired, and engaged throughout the transformation journey. Through thoughtful storytelling, clear communication, and creative engagement, the Lead will help bring the vision for our new workspace and future ways of working to life.
IMPACT YOU CAN CREATE AT CHANEL
Serve as the communication delivery lead for the project team relocating our London-based Global Corporate community to a new space over the next 15 months
- Design and deliver a change management and engagement strategy for the move and the medium-term onboarding to the new space.
- Write, package and deliver communications and engagement moments; exploring new technology and channels that will enhance the experience of the move and create moments of connection for our people.
Manage overall communications about the office relocation for a variety of audiences, to include our leaders, our colleagues in our UK Region and all Chanel employees.
- Write and create a multi-channel content plan
- Bring the brand and employee stories about the move to life through engaging moments of connection and through our internal channels
- Translate technical or logistical information (e.g., floorplans, timelines, packing instructions) into understandable and engaging content
- Act as a key advisor to the project team, helping them communicate the vision, benefits, and progress of the move
- Support engagement campaigns that introduce new amenities, hybrid working models, or updated ways of working
- Identify communication risks or employee concerns early and help address them proactively
- Gather feedback through surveys, listening sessions, and informal channels to continuously improve messaging and employee experience
Develop a calendar of engagement for teams in the current workspace
- Establish the strategy and plans for engagement in the future space

- Experience working with intranet platforms
- Project management experience
