Job Description
As an Intern, Ops Excellence (Stays), you’ll support the team in enhancing operational efficiency and customer satisfaction within the Hotels & SNAP (Stays) business. You’ll be involved in both hands-on operational tasks and process improvement projects, including automation, data management, and performance reporting.
This role suits someone who enjoys solving problems, working with data, and keeping operations running smoothly in a fast-paced travel environment.
Key Responsibilities
Handle day-to-day operational tasks, including case follow-ups, guest and supplier coordination, and data updates.
Support process improvement and workflow automation using Google Sheets, BigQuery, and Apps Script.
Basic understanding of HTML/CSS to design and structure dynamic outputs such as emails, reports, and dashboards.
Maintain trackers and dashboards to ensure data accuracy and timely updates.
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues efficiently.
Identify gaps or inefficiencies in processes and suggest practical improvements.
Required Skills
Proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides).
Strong organization and task management abilities to meet tight deadlines.
Good communication skills (written and verbal).
Adaptability and willingness to learn in a dynamic environment.
Ability to learn quickly and apply scripting/coding knowledge to operational tasks.
Good-to-Have Skills
Fair understanding of SQL and BigQuery (querying and filtering data).
Experience or interest in Google Apps Script or JavaScript for workflow automation.
Familiarity with HTML/CSS.
Analytical thinking with attention to detail.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a degree or equivalent qualification.
Willing to be based at RedStation (KL Sentral).
