A key component in these solutions lies in Athena, our cloud-agnostic, on-prem data management platform, crafted to handle thousands of images per hour, combining speed, precision, and data-rich insights — all in real time. As an intern on our System & DevOps engineering team, you'll help build a smart observability solution that transforms how we supervise, optimize, and configure system performance. Far beyond basic dashboards, you'll craft innovative tools that proactively detect issues and simplify troubleshooting, empowering Field Engineers and R&D teams with actionable insights—ensuring our platforms run smoothly and efficiently in scientific and industrial environments. Our team is located in Bordeaux, France, but set in an international environment, with active collaborations with our colleagues in Eindhoven (Netherlands), Brno (Czech Republic), and Hillsboro (Oregon). 💼 WHAT YOU’LL DO - Contribute to developing a microservice that collects and summarizes key system and performance metrics. - Integrate your solution into our existing observability stack (Prometheus, EFK). - Ensure the tool is user-friendly, reliable, and easily extensible. - Collaborate with experienced engineers, applying DevOps methodologies in an agile environment. 🚀 WHAT YOU'LL GAIN - Hands-on experience working with real-time, high-throughput systems powering critical imaging workflows. - Exposure to a modern, cloud-agnostic tech stack: Kubernetes, Python, .NET, GitLab, Prometheus, and EFK. - Opportunities to develop highly marketable DevOps skills, enhancing your expertise in automation and continuous integration. - Be part of a collaborative team culture that emphasizes continuous learning, pragmatic innovation, and delivering impactful solutions globally. 🎓 YOU’RE THE IDEAL CANDIDATE IF YOU: - Are pursuing a Master’s in Computer Science or related field - Are curious about observability, infrastructure, and development related to the cloud - Become comfortable with scripting languages (Python/Ansible/Bash...), and familiar with Linux-based and dockerized environments. - Enjoy solving real-world engineering problems in a team setting REACH OUT TODAY!
