Job Description

What will you work on?

  • Testing of development prototypes of electron microscopes and their parts
  • Measurement of the physical characteristics of electron optics and vacuum systems
  • Optimization of electron tube settings
  • Preparation of experimental apparatus, evaluation of measured data and their presentation
  • Automation of experiments using scripts
  • Collaboration on development projects

Who do we look for?

  • University or doctoral student in physics, or electrical engineering
  • General technical overview, knowledge in the fields of applied physics and mathematics
  • Knowledge of script programming (Python, Julia, Matlab)
  • Good knowledge of spoken and written English
  • Active and creative approach to problem solving, diligence, and responsibility
  • Ability to work 20 hours/week for one year
