Your Opportunity

We’re currently recruiting for two Intake Support Worker positions—one Full-Time and one Part-Time (3 days/week)—ideal for individuals looking to take their first step into case management.

You will be supporting homeless families. This role is pivotal in managing incoming referrals and conducting assessments to determine client suitability for support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to incoming referrals from internal and external support services.
• Conduct formal assessments to determine client eligibility.
• Provide one-off support, referrals, and information to clients not requiring ongoing assistance.
• Complete initial client registrations, including intake paperwork.
• Induct clients into the service, including orientation to property, facilities, and regulations.
• Support clients transitioning out of the service into independent living or other programs.

Requirements for Success:

• Diploma in Social Welfare (minimum 2 years) or relevant industry experience.
• Strong IT proficiency.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Current Senior First Aid Certificate.
• Valid Driver’s Licence.

Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications, and referee checks, and have a clearance to work with children/vulnerable people.
