Job Summary

The Instrumentation & Digital Executive will be responsible for the seamless operation, maintenance, and optimization of industrial instrumentation systems and digital technologies within our manufacturing facilities. This role ensures the reliability and efficiency of our production processes through expert application of control systems and digital solutions.

Job Responsibilities

* **Instrumentation Management:**
* Install, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of industrial instrumentation, including sensors, transmitters, control valves, and analytical equipment.
* Conduct preventative maintenance on instrumentation to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
* Interpret and update P&IDs, electrical schematics, and loop diagrams.
* Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements related to instrumentation.
* **Digital Systems & Automation:**
* Support the implementation and maintenance of digital manufacturing solutions, including SCADA, DCS, PLC systems, and Industrial IoT (IIoT) devices.
* Assist in data acquisition, analysis, and visualization to drive process improvements and efficiency gains.
* Participate in the integration of new digital technologies and automation solutions into existing plant infrastructure.
* Provide technical support and training to plant personnel on instrumentation and digital systems.
* **Troubleshooting & Problem Solving:**
* Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to instrumentation and control systems.
* Collaborate with production, engineering, and IT teams to identify root causes of failures and implement corrective actions.
* Implement and monitor continuous improvement initiatives for instrumentation and digital processes.
* **Documentation & Reporting:**
* Maintain accurate records of instrumentation calibration, maintenance, and repair activities.
* Generate reports on system performance, reliability, and digital initiative progress.
* Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for instrumentation and digital system operations.

Job Qualifications

* **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
* **Experience:** 2-5 years of experience in instrumentation and control systems within a manufacturing environment, preferably in FMCG or process industries.
* **Technical Skills:**
* Strong knowledge of industrial instrumentation principles, calibration techniques, and troubleshooting.
* Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley), SCADA systems, and HMI development.
* Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP).
* Basic understanding of IIoT concepts, data analytics, and digital manufacturing platforms.
* Experience with process control loops and PID tuning.
* **Soft Skills:**
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
* Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to safety and quality.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
