Installation & Planning Coordinator

Lead the Planning activities for all ongoing projects, supporting Project Management and Site Management Areas. Help the referred area managers and the PMO Director on controlling and reporting data for the complete projects portafolio.

Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Coordinate project resources and third parties/contractors for the flawless execution of projects;
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget;
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation;
  • Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring;
  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress;
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs;
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques;
  • Report and escalate to management as needed;
  • Coordinate the relationship with the customer and all stakeholders or to Project Director when necessary;
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks;
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors/contractors;
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation;
  • Apply roles of team;
  • Lead the planning and implementation of project;
  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables;
  • Define project tasks and resource requirements;
  • Develop full scale project plans;
  • Assemble and coordinate project staff;
  • Manage project budget;

Your Profile / Qualifications

Educational Background: 

  •  Degree within engineering
  • The ideal candidate holds a PMI certification or another relevant
    project management education.

Professional Knowledge and Experiences:

  • Track record in Project Management and/or Project and Installation Planning for the chemical, food, dairy & beverage industry markets.
  • Experienced in mechanical and electrical installations and assembly planning.
  • Experience working on multinational projects.
  • Experienced in intercultural management.
  • Strong in project management methodologies.
  • More than 5 years of Project Management experience from large technical projects.
  • Experience in handling legal and contractual matters.
  • Experience in negotiation and dispute resolution.
  • Successful track record of finishing large projects with regards to results, timing, customer satisfaction and quality.

  • English (fluent written and verbal) language skills are a pre-requisite. The ability to communicate in Spanish is a plus.
