About the Inside Sales Representative:

 

MarketStar is looking for a Inside Sales Representative to support our new North American Commercial Sales team. This dedicated team drives new revenue growth for a leading global technology client by activating their Commercial segment in the North American market, focusing on Small-to-Midsize Business (SMB) and mid-market accounts. Your role is to manage the entire sales process from initial prospecting and qualification through product demonstration and closing new business transactions within target industries like Food & Beverage, Consumer Goods, and Retail.

 

Location: Ogden, UT

 

What Will You Do?

  • Generate new sales pipeline through high-volume outbound prospecting, including cold calling, email, and social selling into target accounts.

  • Conduct in-depth discovery calls and product demonstrations to qualify and advance opportunities through the sales funnel.

  • Negotiate and close new business contracts to consistently achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.

  • Manage a territory and maintain accurate records of all sales activities and customer interactions in CRM (e.g., Salesforce).

  • Integrate seamlessly with client systems and processes, operating within a collaborative 'Yours + Ours' client engagement model.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on the client's solution and effectively communicate its value proposition to diverse stakeholders.

  • Other applicable duties as assigned.

 

What Will You Need to Succeed?

  • 18-24 months of experience as an ISR in the SaaS/IT Services sector for mid-market to enterprise sales, or 6-12 months in B2B sales as an individual contributor.

  • Experience with a software vendor in the SaaS or system integrator space is highly desirable.

  • Strong skills in prospecting, discovery, demonstration, and closing.

  • High sales aptitude, solution-oriented mindset, and a passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience.

  • Collaborative, results-driven, and proven ability to excel in a team environment.

  • Tech-savvy with a keen interest in innovative and emerging technologies.

  • Self-sufficient, adaptable professional, capable of multitasking in a dynamic setting.

  • Ability to clearly articulate technical and business value propositions via phone and email.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with outstanding sales presence and presentation abilities.
