The Inside Sales Representative assists the Business Development and Territory Managers in prospecting, qualifying sales opportunities, and managing CRM data. The ideal candidate is eager to learn about our business, highly coachable and possesses excellent communication and conversational skills.
Major Responsibilities:
Support the Business Development Manager (BDM)/Territory Manager (TM) on prospecting and sales-related activities
Support the Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) - Salesforce maintenance
Prioritize, respond, and organize activities related to developing sales opportunities with Customers for the BDM/TM
Qualify opportunities by cold calling, territory penetrations, data mining, book meetings, etc.
Support the collection of all required information from the customer to complete a specific spec sheet to create a quote
Provide technical Unifiller product recommendations based on customer needs and industry standards.
Assist with entering service tickets related to specific Customers on behalf of BDM/TM
Demonstrate and explain product functionalities to potential buyers.
Assist customers in troubleshooting basic operational issues before escalating to technical support.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of food processing machinery, automation, and industry trends
Follow sales process, protocols, and procedures
Qualifications
Experience in a sales team environment including areas such as: marketing support, inside sales, and/or direct sales motivated, desire to be developed and coached
Diploma with a field of study or concentration in business, sales, marketing or similar
Experience with a CRM system; Salesforce preferred
Experience in telemarketing sales and have a strong sense of customer service
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced/multi-tasking environment
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) with the willingness to learn additional software.
Strong aptitude towards technical equipment
Industry knowledge (pharma, bakery, and food industries) is a plus
Excellent written and oral English communication skills; Spanish and/or French is an asset
