The Opportunity

Abbott Point of Care (APOC) is a global leader in rapid blood analysis and data management solutions. Our flagship i-STAT System delivers real-time, lab-quality results at the bedside, supporting faster clinical decisions across a broad test menu. The Piccolo System complements this with a compact, CLIA-waived platform for efficient point-of-care testing.

We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative (ISR) to join our APOC team based in Orlando, FL. This role is responsible for achieving sales targets and supporting strategic initiatives through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

What You’ll Work On

  • Develop and execute sales plans to meet assigned goals.
  • Make 20–25 outbound calls daily, targeting 8+ meaningful customer interactions.
  • Build trust-based relationships with assigned accounts.
  • Maintain regular contact with top customers to ensure satisfaction and resolve issues.
  • Apply sales training to identify needs and present tailored solutions.
  • Navigate complex sales environments across hospitals, clinics, and urgent care centers.
  • Sell directly and via third-party distributors, adapting proposals to customer scenarios.
  • Demonstrate deep product knowledge across multiple disease states and care settings.
  • Lead virtual demos, training sessions, and educational events.
  • Conduct account research using Salesforce.com, Power BI, Definitive, and Hospital Compare.
  • Support outreach efforts, including surveys, campaigns, and event invitations.
  • Manage inbound inquiries and coordinate meetings or demos for field sales.
  • Provide ad hoc support (e.g., quotes, materials, follow-ups).
  • Ensure timely follow-up and maintain accurate records in Salesforce.com.
  • Share best practices and collaborate with other ISR teams.
  • Comply with company policies and exhibit professional behavior.
  • Perform additional duties as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 2 years of sales experience (healthcare preferred)
  • Understanding of pricing, contracts, and ROI
  • Familiarity with healthcare decision-making processes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce.com)
  • Strong communication and listening skills
  • Ability to build trust and present value-driven solutions
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated
  • Quick learner in technical environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Inside sales experience in healthcare or diagnostics
  • Advanced degree or additional sales experience
  • Proven success in outbound calls and conversion metrics
  • Experience with Point-of-Care Testing or similar technologies
  • Proficiency in CRM and data tools (e.g., Power BI, Definitive)
  • Success in virtual demos, training, or troubleshooting
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize outreach
  • Strong understanding of healthcare decision-making across care settings
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally to drive results
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

The base pay for this position is

$24.80 – $49.60/hour
