The Opportunity:

Whether assisting in the creation of new client application templates,  new processes or communicating requirements, our clients need an advisor who can help develop innovative solutions and interact with stakeholders to maximize impact. That is why we need you, an experienced Innovative Solutions Opening (ISO) Coordinator who can provide strategic support and our client’s leadership on issues relating to new technical proposals.

As part of our team, you'll serve as a strategic technical advisor to the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H), helping conceptualize, create, and execute advanced government-funded research and development programs to accelerate better health outcomes for everyone. Work with world-class scientists and engineers to support the development of high-impact solutions to society's most challenging health problems. Leverage technical expertise to provide strategic assessments of new technologies in support to senior ARPA-H decision makers. Maintain responsibility for producing and presenting findings and recommendations to a team of colleagues and clients on the feasibility and potential impact of future research programs, assisting with the management of current programs, and facilitating commercialization of successfully developed technologies. 

You'll serve as an ISO Coordinator as part of an exciting team to provide high-level technical support to leaders in a demanding, fast-paced environment. Above all, you have a deep commitment to work collaboratively to follow-up on tasks, create technical documents, and clearly communicate to advance client priorities. You will help clients to communicate requirements, standardize processes, and determine viable solutions.  You will provide support to senior leaders, serve as a point of contact for the office and other agency offices, manage incoming requirements, clearly communicate tasks, and track metrics. You will be readily available to shift your focus to fulfill emerging requests and special projects. Attention to detail, flexibility, strong communication skills, understanding of the international mission, and problem solving will enable our client’s success.

What You’ll Work On:

  • Assist in the development of solicitations, application templates, and related documents
  • Manage review processes, status, and tracking for technical review of proposals and negotiations, and liaise with mission office for cost proposals and technical evaluations
  • Leverage contract management expertise to collaborate with within mission offices to support effective execution of ARPA-H's objectives
  • Provide technical and plain-language writing support, communicate verbally and in writing complex scientific concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders involved in the program
  • Actively participate in brainstorming sessions and problem-solving exercises to drive programs forward

You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience with acquisition awards such as FAR-based contracts, Cooperative Agreements, Other Transactions (OTs), and acquisition documentation requirements
  • 3+ years of experience conducting independent research, analyzing data, and writing reports for scientific and public audiences
  • 3+ years of experience in the development of solicitations, cost estimates, and documents
  • 1+ years of experience supporting Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) or Federal ARPA agencies
  • Experience in using data management and analytics platforms
  • Ability to track metrics effectively and adept at managing multiple parallel projects and tasks simultaneously
  • Bachelor’s degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
