Influencer Account Manager

About the Role

WITHIN is seeking an Influencer Marketing Manager to help scale our influencer team and accounts through creative thinking and proven digital marketing strategies. This position will involve both new and mature programs, requiring a skillset to develop, scale, refine and manage clients’ accounts. A successful candidate must have specific knowledge and experience working in the D2C (or B2B) influencer marketing industry, ability to pitch influencer services to prospective clients, and scale a growing team.

Focused, you’re a strategic and analytical self-starter with affiliate and/or influencer marketing experience at an agency and/or brand as a marketing operator of high-growth D2C/B2B companies. You're regularly responsible for achieving ROI goals. You’re a self-driven individual who thrives in a challenging environment where you are responsible for making strategic decision making on behalf of clients and the internal team. Able to embrace ambiguity and changes to find, and effectively communicate data-driven, business solutions to the client and your team. Proactive and positive people leader, excited to train, implement, and refine evolving best practices for the team to maximize our client’s business and our throughput. You’re continually looking to grow and be challenged, and comfortable championing your team.

You’re a chronically online individual who knows how to leverage that expertise to perfectly align brands with influencers that drive results for their business - staying up to date with social media & trends to provide innovative strategy.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to;

  • Conduct higher-level strategic work including campaign ideation, establishing KPIs and budget, creative analyses and identifying learnings and insights for future initiatives.
  • Balance strategy work with executional tasks such as talent seeding, negotiations, projections, tracking and attribution.
  • Proactively work with clients in determining influencer opportunities that align with brand strategy for future months and quarters.
  • Work with paid social teams to push influencer content as sponsored ads, extending client ROI.
  • Activate stagnant partnerships and enhance existing relationships within our network through content strategy and outreach.
  • Ensure workflow and processes are productive and efficient, adjusting when needed.
  • Pull weekly and monthly reports to assess performance, partner activity and areas for scale and/or adjustments.
  • Maintain relationships with the Influencer community, talent management, and agency partners.
  • Manage 1+ junior team members
  • Manage multiple brands influencer programs simultaneously
  • Position reports to the department lead - Head of Integrated Media

Requirements

  • Approaches challenges with a can-do attitude.

  • Excels being the client-facing point of contact for strategy, prioritization, and the storytelling.
  • Experience distilling client goals into specific tasks that are prioritized, executed, and measured.
  • Strong understanding of the connection between influencer and other marketing channels
  • Prior experience managing an influencer marketing program with rapidly growing and established brands.
  • Proven and detailed strategy of digital marketing platforms that coincide with influencer programs (CreatorIQ, rewardStyle, MagicLinks, Sprout Social, Impact Radius, Dash Hudson, etc.).
  • Able to adopt, document, and teach best practices of new partners and teammates.
  • Experience training and coaching junior team members and building small teams that are rapidly growing (establishing new workflows, processes and objectives).
  • 2+ years of experience in influencer management.
  • Successful management of multi-million dollar advertising budgets.
    Understanding of direct mail, OTT, social (Facebook), search, display and podcasts.
  • Exposure to different verticals/business models such as subscription, retail, B2B, CPG, App, etc.

    • $62,400-$78,080
  • Level 2 - Possesses developing capabilities.
    • $78,080-$93,760
  • Level 3 - Possesses notable capabilities.
    • $93,760-$109,440
  • Level 4 - Possesses strong capabilities.
    • $109,440-$125,120
  • Level 5 - Possesses advanced capabilities.
    • $125,120-$140,800
