Indirect Material Buyer

MAR CS/HT Morocco - MFG Full time

Your Role
•    Follow Aptiv SCM policies and procedures 
•    Execute sourcing process of Indirect materials & services for sites in EMEA region  taking into consideration category strategy, quality requirements,  timeliness, customer orientation and costs
•    Obtain the best price, negotiating offers with  the highest potential for savings/ cost avoidance
•    Lead supplier contract negotiations in order to improve total cost
•    Implement pan-European contracts and achieve cost reduction and quality targets
•    Provide full contract/agreement packages
•    Negotiate and source through annual or multiyear agreements
•    Identify, implement and validate cost improvements initiatives or support Category Leader within the Category Group with these tasks
•    Leverage buying power and optimize number of suppliers by using spend analytics and other tools
•    Understand Aptiv quality requirements and inform suppliers about Aptiv’s standards
•    Define and refresh category strategies in cooperation with the Category Leader within the Category Group, communicate and implement them
•    Prepare benchmark information
•    Support Category Leader within the Category Group on sourcing activity documentation, approval in SCM systems and auditing of PO related to compliance with Aptiv Policy & Procedures
•    Work with plants and supplier in cases of late/ missed deliveries – analyze root cause and define corrective actions
•    Manage eTools content and progress status
•    Prepare workshops and support follow up
•    Represent SCM in functional program or project management
•    Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators with selected suppliers
•    Work with troubleshooters related to price queries explanation
•    Create POs in ERP systems if a job transfer to PO creators is not efficient 
•    Ensure personal objectives and KPIs are met
•    Support Country Buyers with expertise if needed
•    Coach, support  team members
Your Background
•    Bachelor or equivalent , technical or economics
•    Fluent in English 
•    Experience on similar position in Supply Chain Management 
•    Good negotiation skills 
•    Very good MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Power Point) 
•    Very good communication skills
