Job Description & Summary At PwC, our people in business application consulting specialize in consulting services for a variety of business applications, helping clients optimize operational efficiency. These individuals analyze client needs, implement software solutions, and provide training and support for seamless integration and utilization of business applications, enabling clients to achieve their strategic objectives.

*Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain Canvas apps using Microsoft Power Apps. • Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and other developers to gather and analyze requirements. • Customize Canvas apps with advanced functionalities including data connections, formula design, and UI improvements. • Integrate Canvas apps with Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL Server, and other data sources. • Implement validation, error handling, and security controls within Canvas apps. • Test, debug, and optimize applications for performance and usability. • Create documentation for app design, workflows, and user guides. • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing Canvas apps. • Stay updated with the latest Power Platform features and best practices.

*Mandatory skill sets

• Proven experience in developing Canvas apps in Microsoft Power Apps. • Strong knowledge of Power Platform components including Power Automate and Power BI is a plus. • Familiarity with data connectors such as SharePoint, SQL, CDS/Dataverse, Excel. • Good understanding of app design principles, UI/UX best practices. • Experience with formula language in Power Apps for building logic. • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Azure services is desirable. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team. • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

*Preferred skill sets

• Microsoft Power Platform certifications (e.g., PL-100, PL-200). • Experience with Canvas app integration using Power Automate. • Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, or CSS for customizations. • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
