As a Training Specialist, you work within the Fusion University and Consultation Services team. You will deliver webinars, develop eLearning content and conduct in person training where you will be viewed as an expert on the Fusion suite of products in conjunction with you experience in Campus Recreation.  You have strong interpersonal skills and can educate stakeholders of all levels on best practices regarding Campus Recreation, Fusion and the synergy between the two. When you aren’t leading sessions on new functionality and how to get the most out of Fusion, you will be creating content for our self-help tools.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Your role primarily involves the following tasks:

  • Develop and maintain Fusion University content
  • Maintain competency on all Fusion software products including new features and updates
  • Perform remote and onsite consultation for existing clients, with a focus on improving their utilization of Fusion
  • Facilitate remote and onsite user group sessions with key client contacts focused on trending topics
  • Research evolving trends in the Campus Recreation and Municipal Recreation industries. and translate expertise to Fusion University and consultation programming/material
  • Assist sales team with trade show exhibitions in balance with training sessions
  • Contribute material to InnoSoft client engagement initiatives (i.e. blogs, e-blasts etc.)

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

You possess the following qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience working in a professional role within a Recreation department is required
  • 2+ years of training and/or teaching experience is an asset
  • Interpersonal savvy, approachability, strong listening skills and excellent oral/written communication skills
  • Strong presentation and training skills
  • Ability to construct creative solutions
  • Previous experience with meeting and webinar tools (i.e. WebEx) and presentation tools (i.e. Powerpoint, Prezi)
  • Ability to react under pressure and maintain composure and confidence
