WHAT YOU'LL DO

You’ll be responsible for creating an engaging and seamless Rain Maker experience across the entire Rain Maker lifecycle. From orientation and onboarding through recognition, surveys, events, and offboarding. You will lead key programs and initiatives that strengthen culture, foster connection, and support Rain Makers throughout their journey. By combining hands-on coordination with continuous improvement, this role helps ensure a positive and consistent experience for all Rain Makers.

Location: Hybrid at our Preston, WA office 3+ days a week 

*While we strive to offer flexibility, this role also requires it. There may be times when you're expected to come onsite outside your typical in-office days to support special projects, team events, or other business needs. 

Annual Bonus Potential: 7% - Eligibility is based on the company hitting annual financial targets. 

Base Salary: $65,000 - $82,000 (depending on experience) 

Note: New hires typically receive between minimum and midpoint, however, we may go slightly higher based on experience, internal equity and market.  
 

  • Own and continually enhance new hire orientation and on/offboarding programs including I-9 routing, HRIS set-up, benefits overview, and departure communications. Partner with hiring managers to ensure readiness for new hires’ first day and timely completion of onboarding tasks. 

  • Manage Talking Rain’s Rewards and Recognition program, overseeing the vendor relationship and ensuring timely distribution of gifts for new hires, birthdays, anniversaries, baby welcomes, etc., as well as own the Rain Maker of the Week program. 

  • Administer compensation-related programs by overseeing the Plant certification process, ensure accurate tracking and communication of sales incentives, coordinating sales up-levels, etc. 

  • Lead promotion of benefit offerings in an effort to increase utilization through internal communications on a regular basis. 

  • Oversee and be the point of contact for fringe benefit programs such as Talking Fit, Reimbursement Programs, etc. 

  • Administer the onboarding and offboarding process for temporary and 1099 workers, partnering with hiring managers to ensure accurate system setup, tracking, and compliance with company and legal requirements. 

  • Provide backup support across People Ops functions as needed, assisting with projects, inquires and initiatives to ensure continuity and responsiveness. 

  • Own and execute the entire employee life cycle survey process, proactively conducting check-in meetings for new hires and at the 6-month mark, along with deploying a comprehensive 100-day survey. 

  • Drive continuous improvement by closely monitoring and analyzing trends in employee feedback gathered through various touchpoints, including in-person/virtual check-ins, promotion-related meetings, and exit interviews. Regularly report findings to inform strategic enhancements in employee experience. 

  • Partner with the Experience team to manage the Rain Maker 101 program, creating a seamless employee onboarding and cultural immersion program to welcome new Rain Makers to Talking Rain. Support with the management of presenters, scheduling, scripting, presentations, activities, vendors and experiences during the quarterly RM101 sessions. 

  • Support the coordination and set-up of on-campus Rain Maker experience events such as beverage carts, holiday celebrations, and recognition activities, with occasional assistance for other events as needed. 

  • Complete other responsibilities as assigned.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 2-4 years of professional experience in Human Resources and/or onboarding. 

  • 1+ year HRIS Experience Required, Workday experience highly preferred! 

  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel). 

  • Insists on integrity at all levels of the organization, maintaining confidentiality with employee requests, comments, concerns, including general PPI. 

  • Ability to accommodate a flexible schedule, occasionally working evenings and weekends for special assignments.

  • Onsite and Hybrid Employees: Get paid to carpool! Drive to work with another Rain Maker every week at least 2X a week and receive $0.25 per mile.

Please note, eligibility for our full benefits package is based on an average of 30+ hours per week in regular (not temporary) positions.
