The Job:  

The Human Resources Coordinator undertakes a variety of HR administrative duties. You will facilitate daily HR functions like keeping track of makers' records and supporting the interview process. Your role, also, involves performing tasks with a focus on growing our site talent pipeline and improve our maker’s experience.

  • Maintain employee information in Workday (new hires, job/pay changes, terminations, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with laws and policies by maintaining employee files and I9s.
  • Administer payroll for hourly employees and handle special payroll requests; resolve benefit and payroll issues with employees.
  • Monitor attendance for non-exempt employees and generate warning reports.
  • Track employee training and prepare HR-related reports and metrics.
  • Manage requisitions and purchases of HR-related items and organize supplies and printing needs for the department.
  • Develop and publish a monthly newsletter and maintain employee communication boards.
  • Coordinate and lead employee events and activities.
  • Create and maintain training materials.
  • Manage HR projects supporting business strategies as needed.
  • Perform other assignments as requested. 

The Person:  

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 1-3+ years’ experience in Human Resources.
  • Strong ability in using MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular) & Workday.
  • Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of personnel administration, effective oral and written communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong conflict management skills.
  • Results-driven, self-motivated with an emphasis on keeping customer and business commitments.
  • Consistently demonstrates the highest level of personal ethical conduct and leads by example with strong values.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to interact professionally and at multiple levels.
  • Experience managing and maintaining confidentiality (including treatment of confidential documents).
  • Strong customer focus with the ability to manage and organize multiple priorities & Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in a distribution center environment preferred.
  • Willing to occasionally work additional hours to cover off shifts for communication/engagement activities/HR process rhythms.
