As an HSE Analyst, you will play a vital role in enabling global strategic decisions and shaping the management system used by all our vessels and crew members.

Reporting to the QHSSE Manager, you will be based in Mumbai, India, alongside a strong team of professionals, where we offer flexible working conditions and a friendly work environment.
The HSE Analyst is responsible for the ongoing administration and maintenance of the Svitzer Management System (Harmonised Management System – HMS). This includes governance, content integrity, system updates, and user support.
The role also involves the preparation and distribution of QHSSE performance reports at both the Group and Regional levels to enable data-driven strategic and tactical decision-making.
Act as a key administrator for the Svitzer Management System (HMS), ensuring functionality on both web and mobile platforms.
Ensure the integrity, responsiveness, and accuracy of content hosted on HMS.
Manage support tickets and troubleshoot system issues.
Prepare and share QHSSE performance reports with Group and Regional stakeholders in a timely manner.
System Administration & Governance
Serve as system administrator for the Harmonised Management System (HMS).
Implement and uphold governance structures and access protocols.
Manage creation, deletion, and modification of:
User accounts and roles
Assets and Organisational Units
Administer document control processes for all procedures, checklists, forms, reference documents, and crisis management plans.
Develop and update HMS forms and form workflows.
Handle support tickets related to:
User management
Asset/event/action administration
Content changes and enhancements
System Content Management
Maintain and review HMS content to ensure it is current, accurate, and compliant.
Implement and monitor change requests and continuous improvement initiatives related to HMS content and structure.
QHSSE Reporting
Extract and analyse data from HMS.
Prepare high-quality reports and dashboards using tools like Power BI and Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.
Respond to ad-hoc reporting and data analysis requests from Group Marine Standards.
Provide explanations and clarifications on reported data as needed.
Collect, validate, and consolidate ESG metric data.
Design and maintain Power BI dashboards, including:
Coding for data extraction
Integrating with data warehouses and data lakes
Publishing dynamic dashboards for organisation-wide use
Troubleshoot data visualisation and reporting errors, providing timely resolutions.
Project Support
Contribute as a project resource for various HSE-related initiatives.
Drive synergy, automation, and process efficiency within areas of responsibility.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality or HSE management systems role.
Proficiency in Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Extensive experience with business and operational data analysis.
Educational qualifications in QHSSE (Bachelor’s/Master’s/Diploma) preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI: Data modelling, report creation, data lake integration, dashboard publishing.
Advanced IT skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Proactive, self-driven, and improvement-oriented mindset.
Able to adapt to evolving business needs and take on new challenges.
Effective collaboration and communication skills.
Demonstrated reliability and professional integrity.
Prior experience in maritime, shipping, or offshore HSE environments is an advantage.
Up to 10 days in a year globally.
