The Electrical Products Group was recently purchased from Avail Infrastructure Solutions by nVent Electric plc (“nVent”) and consists of three business units, Enclosure Systems, Switchgear Systems and Bus Systems. As a part of nVent, the Electrical Products Group is a leading provider of infrastructure solutions, designed to help ensure safe and reliable electrical operations primarily in the infrastructure vertical, including power utilities and data centers.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

  • Implement and support a variety of HR initiatives, including employee relations, performance management, compensation practices, HR policies, training programs, and comprehensive employee life cycle.

  • Serve as a main point of contact, providing guidance and support to internal teams while offering direct support to employees.

  • Lead and drive employee engagement initiatives, ensuring alignment with nVent’s core culture and values.

  • Lead local recruiting efforts for front-line positions, ensuring full compliance, strong diversity, and an effective selection process.

  • Facilitate the New Employee Orientation program to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new hires.

  • Collaborate with Payroll, HRIS, and Compensation & Benefits teams to deliver tailored solutions and support business needs.

  • Actively participate in the annual budget planning and labor forecasting process in partnership with key business partners.

  • Foster and promote nVent’s Continuous Excellence culture by driving an open, empowering, and proactive approach to organizational change.

  • Lead HR project work to support strategic objectives and continuous improvement.

YOU HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources/Business or related field or equivalent experience is preferred

  • 5+ years previous experience in or with human resources

  • Knowledge of pay and employment laws, practices, and legal requirements.

  • High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface with people at all levels within the organization and outside the organization.

Pay Transparency
 
nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
 
Compensation Range:

$62,900.00 - $116,900.00

Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
