HR Analyst - HRIS

This is a fully remote position and must be based in the US or Canada.  We cannot sponsor a work visa for this position.

The HRIS Analyst will support the organization by supporting the data and maintenance of the company’s HR systems.  Provides training, consultative support, and technical assistance to end-users of human resources information.  Acts as liaison with the organization’s IT and HR Call Center functions for requests, concerns, and questions from both within and outside the organization as it relates to the support of the HRIS system.  Essential duties and responsibilities, shown below, will vary accordingly based on assignment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Researches, analyzes, and maintains HRMS systems in support of the human resources administration and projects.
  • Acts as liaison with the organization’s IT function for configuration, requests, concerns, and any other related issues from both within and outside the organization as it relates to the support of the Workday system.
  • Provides analysis of configuration and results, validates program changes, develops specifications for configuration and identifies business needs as it relates to the organization’s HRMS projects.
  • Manages all phases of defined short-term HRMS projects.  
  • Researches and corrects data in Workday using the PeopleAsk case management system.
  • Provides training, consultative support, and technical assistance to end-users of the various HR systems.
  • Provides production support to internal clients and third-party vendors for HRMS projects.
  • Supports HRMS system users in preparation of reports, lists, and updates to HR data. 
  • Manages all phases of defined short-term HRMS projects.  

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business or related field.
  • 3+ years of related HRIS experience
  • Advanced Excel experience
  • Minimum of 1 year Workday experience required

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of business operations, management practices and principles, and human resources management trends and practices.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint skills (macros, pivot tables, V look-ups, etc.).
  • Requires excellent analytical ability, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in teams.
  • The ability to provide consulting level support to internal and external clients.
  • Solid communication skills to effectively support all levels of management.

Travel Requirements

Minimal travel is required.

The annual starting rate is between $80,000 – 95,000 annually. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
