Hospice Volunteer Program Manager

Part-Time | 24 Hours per Week

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Lead volunteer engagement efforts that uphold Elara Caring’s mission and hospice standards.

  • Strategically recruit, train, and mentor volunteers who bring comfort and companionship to patients and families.

  • Maintain volunteer compliance, hours tracking, and documentation to meet CMS and organizational standards.

  • Partner with the interdisciplinary hospice team to align volunteer placements with patient and family needs.

  • Inspire and support volunteers, ensuring they feel valued and equipped for meaningful service.

What You’ll Bring

  • High School Diploma or GED required (college coursework or degree preferred).

  • 2+ years of experience in hospice, healthcare, or volunteer program leadership.

  • Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with compassion and professionalism.

  • Flexible schedule and reliable transportation (valid driver’s license and insurance required).

  • Physical capability to meet the role’s demands (lift up to 50–100 lbs as needed).
