Join us as our new Head of Installation, Denmark Reporting to our General Manager of Johnson Controls UKI Nordics, you will lead a branch of approx. 70 skilled professionals, with job functions ranging from Project Management to Systems Installation, and from Project Engineering to Contract Accounting, building an environment for successful, collaborative engagement with all functions that support you and your team, including everything from Finance to Procurement. You will ideally be based at our Hornslet facility in Denmark, with 10-12 professionals directly reporting to you. 

You will be responsible for the on-time, on budget delivery of our customer projects, to the highest possible quality, scaling best practices, coaching for performance and role-modelling a problem-solving approach to winning in all dimensions of the role.  

 

What you will do:  

  • Build a team and organization, fit to exceed our customers' expectations, with a low-ego, low-friction approach to cross-functional collaboration.  

  • Govern the development of project delivery plans, ensuring on-time, profitable completion of large-scale Industrial Refrigeration and HVAC installations. 

  • Directly manage and coach a high-performing team of 10–12 direct reports, while leading and empowering a broader branch of ~70 colleagues, encouraging collaboration for continuous improvement and a sense of shared success.  

  • Develop our workforce and supplier network capabilities, to leap ahead of our competitors in addressing our customers problems of today and tomorrow  

  • Systematically coach your organization using our enterprise operating model, continuously closing performance gaps, setting new standards, and leading change. 

  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives and embed best practices to scale organizational capability and success. 

  • Provide trusted governance leadership for operational effectiveness, financial performance, compliance, and safety.

Professional:  

  • University degree within relevant fields of study or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in operations management, ideally within the industrial refrigeration or HVAC industry. 

  • Proven track record in developing and executing strategic and financial project delivery plans. 

  • Strong experience managing and optimizing workforce planning, including retention, and development of both subcontractors and in-house talent. 

  • Demonstrable experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives and best practices to enhance operational effectiveness in a manufacturing or systems environment. 

  • Solid understanding of governance frameworks and compliance within operations. 

  • Strong knowledge of industrial refrigeration systems and heat pumps.  

  • Fluency in Danish and English.
