The Head of HR will lead the people agenda for the Dyson Business Services (DBS) globally and integrate all the different HR activities in alignment with the needs of the business. This role will also be the Country Lead for Dyson Poland, driving all necessary People related policies, compliance with local regulations and support the leaders implementing a culture where people thrive.
This role will be report to the Global HR Director, Group Functions based in Singapore.
In this role, you will partner with the Global DBS Director and her Leadership team to develop and execute the People strategies and planning activities that drive organizational and people effectiveness. You are expected to influence, challenge, and translate the business direction into local people plans. The role is challenging and fast paced, working across multiple geographies (3 key locations: Poland, India, China) and with multiple business partners. The incumbent is expected to be resilient and strong in execution and able to bring the business and HR teams with you.
Key responsibilities
Be an active member of the DBS leadership team and drive the Global People Agenda through multiple geographies and cross functional HR teams
Act as a strategic partner to the executive leadership team, providing guidance on HR-related matters while being hands on supporting with operationalising the strategic objectives into programs / projects and activities
Build strong and trusted relationships with relevant stakeholders both with business and with the cross functional HR teams
Lead a small HR Business Partnering team (2 FTE) and influence the execution of the work through local HRBP’s and the Center of Excellence teams
Drive Dyson’s company culture through local initiatives to foster a trusted environment
Truly understand the nuances required in delivering the people agenda globally, along with the relevant employment laws and practices in each location
Understanding the business and its plans and creating an appropriate people strategy to deliver this
Guide the line managers with the information and tools to engage and motivate the workforce. Help increase workplace productivity and employee loyalty by working with line managers to enhance the employer brand and corporate culture
Lead the people side of changes within the organization. Partner with the business to implement new processes, products, and business strategies whilst minimizing negative outcomes
Partner with HR CoEs including Reward to provide compensation support, including salary planning, approval of salary actions, and promotions.
A champion of the Dyson culture and values - connected to the "pulse" of our people across Group Functions, working closely with senior business leaders to drive organizational effectiveness and engagement.
Develop and champion a high-performance culture
Demonstrate a significant experience in an HR Business Partnering role, on a global or regional level
Ability to influence using business case, data and external best practices to be able to drive change
Very strong analytical skills, using people data to draw insights
Change agent and the ability to drive organisation people change effectively
Experience in driving complex change projects like return to work, organisational transformation etc.
Ability to work with geographically and culturally diverse teams and understand different ways of interpreting situations.
Adept at managing a broad range of different priorities
Experience working with local Unions is essential in this role
Experience in driving and implementing Learning and Development strategy / lead facilitator at times for certain People programs
Ability to transmit corporate values and exemplify integrity and trust for the rest of the organization's functions
Ability to manage and lead HR Business Partners effectively
